Maintaining Fine Wood Surfaces through
Redlee, Inc. and Southwest Real Eastate Services, Inc.

Our technicians have been providing wood and finish repair and maintenance services at Cityplace Center in Dallas for the past six years, contracting our services through Redlee, Inc. to Southwest Real Estate Services, who manages the building.

CWS performs monthly wood beauty maintenance services in elevator cabs at the building. In addition, we have often maintained the millwork in the many meeting rooms, and performed special projects including replacement of millwork, furniture refinishing, etc. throughout the building.

The before and after photos of the door at left furnish an example of the typical damage to Cityplace millwork. The building's meeting rooms host weddings, seminars, banquets and other private and corporate events. Service personnel are busily moving carts stacked with tables, chairs, food service, etc. into and back out of each room many times a day. Wear and tear on doors, baseboards and door frames is unusually heavy here.

Most of our clients who choose a wood beauty maintenance contract to keep their elevators, security consoles and wall paneling looking great, also hire us from time to time for "dolling up" the doors throughout the building. CWS has put together a simple door touch-up calculator to give interested building managers an idea of the low rates we may offer. The calculator is most accurate on quantities of 15 or more doors. The three photos at left show one of the minor millwork installations we made at Cityplace Center. For that job, we milled and prefinished several hundred linear feet of mahogany bullnose trim. After istallation, we touched-up, toned and topcoated the project for a perfect color and sheen match with the existing millwork panels.
